This the second book in The Abigail Series
This novel is set in Baltimore, Maryland during the early 1900s. Abigail’s deepest desire is to have a normal family, but the loss of her firstborn and a family legacy of mental illness creates a mountainous obstacle. She is treated with the new psychotherapies offered by William James and Sigmund Freud. After restarting her family, her husband, Bill, while on a business trip, has an affair in London. Abigail finds a starving, abandoned baby on her front porch. Who’s the mother? Who’s the father? Will bonding with the baby by breastfeeding him be a blessing or a curse? Abigail steps through these stumbling blocks shaken to the core. After searching deep inside her soul, she finds the resilience needed to capture her dream, restore her self-image, and strengthen her desire to love.
Beyond Betrayal is set to be released in 2025
